1. General Policy
a) Members of The Nuthouse Perth community include regular event attendees, and any persons who join any online space administered by us.

b) By attending an event hosted by The Nuthouse Perth, or joining any of our online spaces, an attendee/member must agree to these terms and policies. Whilst a person can attend an event hosted by us without being a Member, they must still agree to these terms and policies to attend.

c) The Nuthouse Perth reserves the right to remove from an event, void the ticket of, ban from future events or otherwise ban, exclude or limit any person from our community or our online spaces at any time. These actions may be taken in response to violation of these terms and conditions, or for any other reason deemed necessary.

d) A ban, exclusion or limitation to the spaces and events offered by The Nuthouse Perth is not appealable. Temporary exclusions bans or other limitations will be lifted at the time that they are deemed to expire, but indefinite bans are permanent. If The Nuthouse Perth deems that the reason for a ban, exclusion or limitation is no longer valid, The Nuthouse Perth may at its sole discretion remove the ban exclusion or limitation. The Nuthouse Perth also reserves the right to revoke any ban, exclusion or limitation, for any reason.

e) The Nuthouse Perth by design is a group of people, and it is impossible in a large group of people for everyone to like each other. We encourage any Members who have disputes with each other or otherwise don’t get along to please just leave each other alone. It is possible to exist in the same space as each other and simply not interact, and we encourage this behaviour so that all Members can continue to engage with The Nuthouse Perth, and come to events.

f) The Nuthouse Perth operates a three strike system for minor rule breakages and misconduct, a Member will be given a strike for each violation or instance and will be banned upon a third strike being received. If a situation is deemed serious enough by us, an instant ban or other exclusion or limitation may be applied. Application of strikes and bans is at the sole discretion of The Nuthouse Perth. In online spaces a strike may be accompanied by a temporary ban or temporary mute. At the discretion of the Moderators of the space, a strike may be deemed excessive and so only a temporary ban or mute may be applied for a minor issue.

g) If a Member or attendee has any issue with the conduct of another person at an event, or in one of our online spaces, please bring that issue or concern to the attention of the staff, volunteers, or moderators privately, or by getting their attention without calling out the issue. Anyone who takes it upon themselves to self-administer an online space, creating a disturbance, or who causes disharmony or discomfort at an event by trying to deal with an issue themselves, may receive a strike.

h) To maintain the safety, enjoyment and harmony of the community, and to preserve the continuation of The Nuthouse Perth. The Nuthouse Perth will not tolerate the spreading of information, or any other action or behaviour that causes discomfort, harm, or that The Nuthouse Perth believes is intended to adversely affect itself or its members, or it or its members relationship with a venue, the public, or each other. Anyone taking part in such behaviour, and anyone directly associated with a person taking part in such behaviour may receive an immediate ban, or strikes.

i) The Nuthouse Perth does not support any activity or content deemed illegal under Australian Law. To protect our Members, our public image, and the public image of the Furry Fandom, The Nuthouse Perth does not associate itself or its members with such activities, content, or persons involved in them.

j) The Nuthouse Perth is in no way responsible for the actions or words of its Members. Members agree to take full responsibility for their own actions, and agree that any views expressed are their own and not the views of The Nuthouse Perth. They agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Nuthouse Perth and its staff and volunteers, of any liability that results from their activities, opinions, or posts at an event hosted by The Nuthouse Perth or posted in an online space administered by The Nuthouse Perth. They agree that by being a Member of The Nuthouse Perth, this does not mean that The Nuthouse Perth supports any endeavours of their own, any art they create, any other private business they undertake past present or future, no matter it’s relation to the Furry Fandom or The Nuthouse Perth, unless expressly stated otherwise by The Nuthouse Perth.

k) Members agree to not use the name of The Nuthouse Perth or its staff for the purposes of promotion, unless given permission from The Nuthouse Perth to do so. 

3. Online Policy and Code of Conduct
a) The Nuthouse Perth runs and administers a number of online spaces, and reserves the right to moderate the content within, and access to, those spaces. Members of these spaces agree to abide by the rules applicable to the space. The interpretation of these rules is at the sole discretion of The Nuthouse Perth.

b) Content posted to our online spaces should be posted in the appropriate channels and groups. We encourage Members to have general conversation in the general and SFW spaces, so it can involve as much of the community as possible.

3.1. General Rules
Where a particular channel, group or otherwise has specific rules in place, those supersede these rules.

3.1.1. Please don't start drama within the group. This means if you have a problem with someone or their opinions, we ask that you please contact an admin, or try to find a resolution in PMs rather than in the group.
Some examples of starting drama:
●   Negative gossip about other individuals
●   Not moving an argument to PMs when asked to by others
●   Back-seat moderating, especially without contacting an admin

3.1.2. Be respectful towards everyone, including admins, we are here to ensure everyone is safe and having a good time

3.1.3. Be mindful of the minors in our group, keep it SFW (safe for work) - this includes avoiding the following topics:

●  Illicit drugs
●  Alcohol
●  Sexual talk
●  Weapons - this includes things like jokingly posting stickers with knives.
●  Gore

If you’re unsure what is appropriate and what's not please contact an admin as we are happy to help.
Moderators have final say on what is or is not considered SFW in these spaces, these decisions will be made based upon the content, intent AND the context of the posts.

3.1.4. Do not leak or screenshot information from within a Nuthouse space to any other space without permission from the person who shared the information. Depending on the situation this may result in an immediate ban.

3.1.5. Designated spaces may have restrictions placed upon entry, please contact a staff member or administrator to enquire about access to these spaces. Do not add people to these spaces without permission.

3.1.6. Please respect the decisions of the admins. This is to ensure the safety of our members. Do not argue against a decision in any online space.

3.2. 18+ Spaces
The Nuthouse Perth runs several over-18 online spaces, the rules for these differ from the general rules in the following ways:

It is acceptable to post and talk about any topic as long as it would not be illegal to do so, and the topic is not listed below. Conversation on the below topics may be acceptable in certain circumstances so long as the conversation is not promoting the topics, and is otherwise genuine debate or discourse.

The list of unacceptable topics/content is:
●  No Illicit drugs
●  No Feral
●  No Consensual non-consent
●  No Blood or Gore
●  No Under-age
●  No Intersex / Trans fetishisation 

4. Event Terms and Conditions
a) At any event marked as 18+, staff, security or the venue may require an attendee to produce ID upon entry. The Nuthouse Perth reserves the right to ask for an attendee to produce ID for inspection at an age-restricted event at any time.

b) Tickets for any event hosted by The Nuthouse Perth are non-refundable except upon an approved request to The Nuthouse Perth. Tickets are transferable up to the time of check-in at an event only when the ticket is transferred for free, or in exchange of money or goods where the value in exchange is equal to or less than the original purchase price of the ticket.

c) At an event where tickets can be purchased at multiple tiers, tickets can be upgraded by contacting The Nuthouse Perth, provided that the difference in cost of the tickets is paid to The Nuthouse Perth, there are tickets available at the upgraded tier, and the upgraded ticket would otherwise be available for purchase to the ticket holder. An upgraded ticket may be unavailable for purchase if the event date is too close. Tickets cannot be downgraded except upon an approved request to The Nuthouse Perth.

d) Attendees agree to conduct themselves in a manner acceptable to the event which they are attending. Disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated, and any acts or behaviour that interferes with the running of the event, harms or discomforts other attendees, or is otherwise deemed unacceptable by The Nuthouse Perth staff, security or the venue, is forbidden. Attendees at our events have the right to feel safe and to not be made uncomfortable by others’ actions.

e) Attendees agree to respect the venues and locations of events. If any local rules are in place attendees agree to follow them, and they agree to not damage or otherwise cause an excessive disturbance at a venue or location.

f) Illicit substances and illegal activities are strictly forbidden at events hosted by The Nuthouse Perth.

g) Attendees agree and acknowledge that their participation in events hosted by The Nuthouse Perth is voluntary, that they understand the nature of the event and they agree to accept sole responsibility for any risks associated with attending the event. They agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Nuthouse Perth and it's staff and volunteers, from any claim for personal injury or other damages or equity arising out of any individual's activities at any event hosted by The Nuthouse Perth, even if such injury or damage is caused by negligence by or on the part of The Nuthouse Perth.
